A cute mushroom cottage ornament I made to test out a new design. It all came out perfectly except for a small glaze defect on the bottom step (see final picture).
Featuring real 24k gold lustre painted spots on the mushroom cap and a smiley heart above the door.
Wheel thrown using a white earthenware clay
Hand built details are added onto the thrown form
Carefully decorated with colourful painted underglazes
Coated with a shiny transparent glaze
Finished with 24k gold lustre dots
